I have the honor to be apart of ODWIN!!! I came to Ms. Sandra Stanley broken, only 20 days clean and sober!! I lost everything my home, my nice car, my job and on April 1st my kids. I wanted to end everything on April 24th, BUT GOD had another plan! 30 days later I would be meeting Ms. Sandra Stanley and her awesome Ministry of Opening Doors for Women in Need!!! And my life would turn around and be full of peace, hope and unconditional love!

Through ODWIN I have learned Life Skills, Coping, Budgeting, attended OVERCOMERS, Volunteer at the Como Food Bank. (Which I never would have done.) And through Monday night Bible Study my relationship with my Higher Power Jesus Christ is mended and better then it ever has been.

All my hygiene needs have been met, clothes, shoes, food and even hair cuts so that I could focus on this new journey of faith and recovery! My relationship with my family and with Jordan Michelle and Lillie have blossomed and healing has began. I went from total isolation with my family terrified for me through Ms. Stanley a blanket of peace had comforted them.

I have learned responsibility, self-care, time management, budgeting, forgiveness, prioritizing, tithing, faith and the importance of sticking to my word! I have learned that I am worth it today and not to settle, I have gained freedom and humility! Words could never explain how grateful I am to ODWIN all the volunteers, the ladies I have lived with, and Ms. Sandra Stanley my Shepherd!

I am now looking forward to graduating this AWESOME program! My family calls me just to say I love you, Lillie and Jordan want to be around their mom and WILL BE coming home very soon. I have a JOB, I have applied for a car and will be moving into my own home on October 1st!

Today is give back day! We all have had a lost soul searching for all the right things in all the wrong areas, hopeless state of mind addicts or simply someone with a hurt, habit or hangup.
